We make things for these moments. Colours chosen carefully. Textures considered. Details that feel quiet, not loud.

Not because we want to impress anyone. Because some things in your daily life with your pet deserve the same thought you give to everything else you care about.

This is the first chapter. It is spare by design. We wanted to start with only what we believed in completely, nothing extra, nothing to fill space.

In the royal courts of the Asante Kingdom, kente cloth was more than fabric, it was a visual language. Woven on narrow looms, each pattern spoke: of wisdom, of unity, of things worth remembering.

We didn't set out to recreate history. Guided by members of our team with roots in this tradition, we set out to learn from what it understood: that geometry can carry weight. That color can mean something beyond decoration. That what you choose to wear on your body — or your dog's — says something about what you value.

Kente takes the logic of those centuries-old patterns and asks a simple question: what if dignity and joy could exist in the same design?

The zigzags. The interlocking shapes. The tension between structure and movement. These aren't arbitrary. They're intentional.

This is a design that doesn't need to explain itself. It just needs to exist, with confidence.

Opal doesn't try to be beautiful. It just is.

Formed over millions of years from silica and water, opal holds light differently than other stones. It doesn't reflect it back, it plays with it. Soft pink becomes cool blue becomes gentle purple, depending on the angle, the moment, the mood.

Opal is built on that same principle: beauty that shifts, that doesn't demand attention but rewards it.

The pattern is circles. Overlapping, endless, mathematical. The kind of shape that appears everywhere once you start looking, ripples on water, cells under a microscope, the way a dog curls up to sleep.

We chose gradients that move the way natural opal does. Not bright. Not loud. Just soft transitions from one hue to another, like morning turning into afternoon.

The strange thing about opal is that it's never actually one color. It's iridescent, which means it's always becoming something else, always in between.

That in-betweenness felt right for this design. Not pastel. Not neutral. Somewhere more interesting: a color space that exists in early light, in quiet moments, in the textures of everyday tenderness.

Opal doesn't announce. It accompanies.

Everything here was decided by the walk, not the spec sheet.

Outer fabric

High-density waterproof nylon. It takes rain, hedges, the corner of a wet bench, and the third puddle he walks straight through. It does not stain and it does not fray.

Inner layer

Soft breathable mesh where the harness meets him. Heat has somewhere to go, which matters on the walks that turn out longer than planned.

Hardware

Stainless steel throughout, rust-proof, with a finish that does not go dull after a winter. Two lead rings: one at the chest for a calmer walk, one at the back for the moments that need more hold.

Fit

Quick-release buckles and steel adjusters. Easy on when he will not stand still, and once it is set, it stays where you set it.

Details

A reinforced handle at the top for crowded pavements and kerbs. Soft binding along every edge, because a harness he wears every day should not be something he notices.
